WHY DITHER // THE LOOM
DITHER is the old craft of saying everything with two tones. Void and bone. Dark and light. No gradients and no lies: where a pattern needs a mid tone, the loom places both tones side by side and trusts the eye to merge them. Thirty six sigils form the alphabet of that craft, stable shapes that hold under any magnification, and the loom weaves them into 1111 plates.
Every plate is an argument between two sigils. The base holds the warp, the overlay runs the weft, and every pixel where they meet is knocked out and left void, because two truths cannot occupy the same point of light. What survives the argument is the plate. Some plates run a rare thread of acid, magenta, amber or crimson. Some turn to bone and remember themselves in negative. Some tile their sigil until it becomes cloth. The states carry names: PURE SIGIL, INVERTED MONOLITH, ACCENT WEAVE, QUILTED, PLAIN WEAVE. Each plate is seeded, salted, and renderable forever from its public salt and token id. Provenance is not a promise, it is a checksum.
This is not a picture of a crash. It is the receipt that you survived one, and the key that keeps the next one off your screen.
Your plate can never 404. The public salt + token id render it again at any resolution, any codec, forever, including billboard scale archival prints. Ownership means the source, not a screenshot.
Every plate ships with a commercial holder license: merch, album covers, book jackets, studio branding. Your DITHER is a working brand asset in the physical world, not just a wallet entry.
Holders enter the print program at cost and use their plate as a ticket to IRL gallery nights and live forge sessions, wherever the circle gathers. The weave leaves the screen and meets you in the room.
Mint proceeds keep the loom running: tooling reserved for holders, full resolution render access, first look at future drops, and self defense workshops that teach creators to lock the door before the static starts.

DITHER is not meant to be held alone. Every plate is a node; every node is a person. This collection is designed to become a circle of people who have watched the screen go red, and decided to build something that outlives the crash.
We are looking for the first 1,111: not whales, not flippers. Keepers, builders, artists, and the famously rugged who got back up. If you have ever lost work to a bad signature and want to make sure nobody else does, you are already one of us.
